Backing Up Data

We rarely experience catastrophic data loss. Our computers are tried and true, the sturdy number crunching machines that never fail us.  I couldn’t tell you the last time I backed up my computer, but I CAN tell you how devastated I would be if I lost my hard drive because it’s been at least a month. That’s at least 60 pages written and 200 edited that would disappear in an instant.  To backtrack and recreate would be heart-breaking.

Right after this blog, I’m doing a back-up.  Why?  Because I know two people who lost their computers in the last month. Crash and burn. And I’m feeling a bit nervous…
